Sweetly Citron Review

I hate mosquitos, I'm sure you all do. But what I hate almost just as much is the smell of citronella. That stuff stinks and sometimes it works. But how can I use something that smells so terrible around me? I mean I can use it in the corners or on the picnic table but that doesn't help me much.

Of course I have tried the sprays like Off and Avon Skin so soft but I don't like the way they feel. I tried on type of Off and I felt like I could oil wrestle I was so greasy and oily.  To my dismay the Sweetly Citron smells just like citronella when I put it on. I was so upset but the smell did not last long at.  Much better than smelling a candle constantly.

It comes in a pump dispenser like a non-aerosol hair spray so it will spray evenly when pumped. It does not feel greasy or oily. It lays on the skin for only a little while but it offers an invisible coating for protection.

We went crawfishing and I was so happy to try out the Sweetly Citron. I am happy to report I didn't get bothered by mosquitos or gnats but I was bitten by a LOT of baby horse flies. Apparently they were very attracted to the smell because I was the only one they were after.

I will try this again because it worked great on mosquitos. I'll just hope I don't get eaten by baby horse flies.
I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion but the opinion expressed is all mine. Regardless I only recommend products I feel are good for my readers.
